Terms of Use

Effective date: 28 October 2026 · Last updated: 28 October 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and BILLION MILLION INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, trading as Control INC, Rm B33, 5/F, Hong Kong Manufacturing Building, 128 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong ("we", "us", "our"). They apply to every app we publish on Google Play (the "apps") and to the website cardscan.controlsolution.org. By downloading or using an app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.

Some apps have additional terms (for example the MonScan terms). Those additional terms form part of these Terms, and they take priority if the two conflict. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent, to use the apps. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the apps only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who must agree to these Terms and approve any purchase.

2. Licence to use the apps

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the apps on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the apps.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to try to:

4. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Some apps offer paid subscriptions (for example a weekly, monthly or yearly "Premium" plan). The price, billing period, any free trial and what the subscription includes are shown in the app before you buy.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law. If you are in the EEA or UK, you agree that digital content and services you buy start immediately after purchase, and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your statutory right to withdraw once performance has begun, where the law allows this.

5. One-time purchases

Some apps sell one-time in-app products, such as a package that unlocks a single action or a pack of usage credits. These are billed through Google Play when you confirm the purchase. Consumable products are used up when you use them and cannot be restored after use. Refunds are handled under the Google Play refund policy described above.

6. Virtual items and coins

Some apps include virtual items such as in-app coins, packs, virtual cards, rewards or badges ("virtual items").

7. Advertising

Free versions of our apps show ads, including rewarded ads that you can choose to watch in return for an in-app benefit. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for advertisers' products or websites. How ads use data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. User-generated content

Some apps let you create and publish content, such as images, text or custom cards ("your content"), which other users can see, like, download and share.

Your rights and our licence

You keep any rights you have in your content. By publishing it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for example resize) and distribute your content in and in connection with the apps, for as long as it is published. You also allow other users to view, download and share it within the features the app provides. You can delete your content where the app allows; the licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies other users have already downloaded.

Content rules

You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you own it or have permission to publish it. Do not publish content that:

App-specific community guidelines, such as the MonScan community guidelines, give more detail.

Reporting and removal

You can report content that breaks these rules using the report option in the app, where available, or by emailing [email protected] with the item's name, a screenshot and the reason. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or block a device from publishing, with or without notice, if we believe content breaks these Terms or the law. We are not obliged to monitor content but may do so. Child sexual abuse material will be removed and reported to the relevant authorities.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content in our apps infringes your copyright or trademark, email us with: your contact details; a description of the work and of your rights in it; where the content appears in the app (with a screenshot); a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We will remove infringing content and may stop repeat infringers from publishing.

9. Price estimates, AI and other information

Some apps provide identifications, prices, price history, price forecasts, condition or grade estimates, AI chat answers and other information. This information:

Always check important information yourself, and make your own decisions before buying, selling, grading or insuring any item. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on information in the apps. You must not use AI features to generate unlawful, harmful or infringing content. You can report offensive AI output to [email protected].

10. Third-party content, links and trademarks

The apps may show information, images or prices from third parties and may link to third-party websites and shops (for example online marketplaces or grading services). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, websites, products or services, and your dealings with them are solely between you and the third party.

Product names, game names, card names, character names, logos and other trademarks shown in the apps belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the items they refer to. Unless clearly stated, we are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of those owners.

11. Our intellectual property

The apps, including their software, design, text, graphics and original artwork, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our names, logos or content except as these Terms allow.

12. Changes, suspension and termination

We may update, change or discontinue an app or any feature, including free features and virtual items, at any time. We may update these Terms; the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and significant changes will be announced in the app or on its store page. If you keep using the apps after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.

You may stop using the apps at any time by uninstalling them (remember to cancel any subscription in Google Play). We may suspend or end your access to the apps or to certain features if you break these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 6, 8, 9 and 13 to 17) will survive.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that results (such as identifications, prices or estimates) will be accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or virtual items, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the apps, even if we have been told such damages are possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the apps is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the app or in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim arose, and (b) USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the apps. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there. Before starting proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

17. General

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any app-specific terms, are the entire agreement between you and us about the apps. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
